My Artist Statrment...
What is sacred and how do we invite it in? That’s what I often think about when you find me alone looking out over a body of water, cooking or reflecting in the hundreds of wonderful moments throughout my day. My life hasn’t been an easy one, by no means, but throughout my day, I look for ways to invite sacred into my life, It’s been my solace. It’s been my recovery from trauma. It’s been my resiliency and the reason to keep going.
Then one day I realized just how much ‘sacred’ is who I am, and who we all are, but listening to clients, friends and society as a whole, I have heard you…
The question is...
How do we embody our most sacred essence?
How do we become our own temple worthy of respect and valued for the beauty that we bring to each day?
How do we find our voice, stay true to ourselves and lead our lives and business from this point of personal sacredness? (and especially keep from sounding woo-woo and staying authentic to our truest self).
How do we chase our dreams, be who we choose to be, and leave a legacy as if we wrote our story upon this Earth?
How do we become something other than a tool that someone uses for their pleasure and keep our light from dimming?
The answer? I see these sparks of light.and I try to capture them, and then weave and intertwine the story they want to tell. I look for the portals and listen to what they want to say. I connect my energy with the energy around me and watch what happens when they interact, transform and alchemize. Then I try and honor the wisdom found within its presence.
I found that through my work as an artist, designer and strategist that I can tap into this place of essence and capture, ever so sweetly and concisely, the sacredness of our truest heart and story. I also realize that capturing this sacredness helps it to resonate and vibrate right back to us, holding us in a sacred container that allows us to create our unique individualized magick so that we can gift it (yes gift.. not give, but offering and send with a blessing a gift from our soul to others) to our world through the mere presence in our life and business.
